Liliia Diakova initially pursued studies in Translation and Law at Pyatigorsk State University, Russia, earning her Bachelor’s degree in 2016. After a semester abroad in Hamburg, she decided to study law in Germany, successfully passing her first state bar exam at the University of Hamburg in 2020.
Throughout her academic journey, Liliia Diakova gained extensive experience in private international law, transportation law, and corporate law, particularly during her time at the Max Planck Institute for Private International Law in Hamburg.
Her professional development continued as a research assistant in various law firms, where she deepened her expertise in international arbitration, banking law, and private international law, while also working with foreign clients, including also russian clients.
Driven by her passion for international legal work, Liliia Diakova completed one stage of her legal clerkship at a boutique law firm in Paris, further broadening her international experience.
Since September 2024, Liliia Diakova has been working as a research assistant at KDB.legal, following the successful completion of her second state bar exam.
