KDB.legal
KDB.legal advises and represents national and international clients in complex commercial law matters. Clients include companies from all sectors and of all sizes, ranging from medium-sized enterprises to internationally active corporations. The firm’s legal practice focuses on the areas of dispute resolution and maritime commercial law, with the firm supporting its clients both in an advisory and strategic capacity and in judicial and out-of-court proceedings.

In the field of dispute resolution, the firm represents clients before state courts and in national and international arbitration proceedings. The lawyers have extensive experience in enforcing and defending against complex commercial law claims in cross-border cases. Dr Boës specialises in particular in the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, as well as the enforcement of claims arising therefrom.
In maritime commercial law, the firm covers the entire spectrum of dry and wet maritime law. In addition to drafting contracts, the firm’s advisory services encompass the out-of-court and in-court enforcement of matters relating to shipping, transport, commercial and insurance law. Clients include shipping companies, charterers, ship managers, insurers and UHNWIs from the maritime sector. A particular focus of our advisory work is on supporting transactions and financing. In this area, Henrike Koch primarily advises on the acquisition, disposal and financing of seagoing vessels, as well as on all associated legal and practical issues.
