Jevgenia Tarassova studied law at the University of Passau with a one-year stay abroad as part of her specialisation at Saint Petersburg State University. An internship at the German Foreign Office – at the German Consulate General in Yekaterinburg – took her to Russia a second time during her studies.
Due to her continuous interest in international matters, she also devoted herself to arbitration law during her legal traineeship in Singapore and was also a participant of the “Hamburg Arbitration School”.
Thanks to various positions at law firms, she was able to gain insights into different areas of law such as energy law, tax law and (international) commercial and corporate law.
From May 2024 to August 2024, Jevgenia Tarassova worked at KDB.legal as a research assistant.
From September 2024 to June 2025, she pursued her LL.M. studies in public international law in Stockholm before returning to the law firm in August 2025 to work as an associate.
